Our colleagues of the association Bez Drog, Pravda o Drogach (No To Drugs, The Truth About Drugs) from Slovakia, are very active spreading among the youth and public the informative data needed to protect them against the destructive effects of drug use. They are doing this mainly in schools but also by direct contacts with the public on stands in the streets: The main goal of our activities is to make people understand why drugs are harmful and that they are not real solution to common problems for anyone.

In April they were in the city of Mechalovce located in the eastern part of Slovakia near the Ukrainian border and the Zlemplinska Sirava lake. Some 30 helpers contributed to deliver 55 lectures in 15 schools, reaching no less than 1475 students and their 57 teachers. An amount of 20,810 booklets from the series The Truth About Drugs were distributed. This was also reported in local media.

In Zemplin they were present in 9 schools and distributed 4,350 booklets about the harming effects of Marijuana and had an interview by the TV online Mistral. And continuing their action of information, they visited 15 towns of the eastern part of Slovakia, such as Spisska Nova Ves, Presov, distributing 18,000 booklets and had an interesting interview with the local TV Partizanske.
