DRUGS SEIZURES BY THE POLICE

The French Say No To Drugs (SNTD) volunteers despite the cold weather, the wind and often snowing and raining days have not given up their successful drug prevention actions across the country, to inform the youth and the public at large on the harming effects of drug use.

They were found in this month of January in the cities, towns and villages of:
Angers, Bayonne, Bordeaux, Francheville, Lapalisse, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris/St Denis, Pontivy, Puy Guillaume, Toulouse, Verneuil, and some others.

They distributed no less than 10,125 booklets from the series The Truth About Drugs, visited more than 271 shops (of all types), collected 175 supports in writing and even had the opportunity to deliver a 2 hours conference to medical doctors, always on the drug subject !

In the streets, they are giving data about the drugs, answering questions of youngsters interested to find out more about, listening to the problems encountered by the parents and their children (not always youngs!).

Often they met with teachers, school assistants, nurses, police, security agents, to name a few. Many are taking the booklets for their activities.

And they are listening to sad stories about the results of ignorance of what drugs are and do, such as:
-the husband, a nurse, who was using medical psychotropic drugs with alcohol, ended up in psychiatry with other drugs and died at 50 years old!
-a son who was using a prescribed substitution drug orally, and hiding the fact he was also injecting it, was on the verge of be amputated of his arm and leg…

This explains why the public is very appreciative of the preventive and educative actions made by SNTD France regarding the information on the harming effects of drug use!

Too often we forgot the reason of the existence of these many natural drugs: to protect the organisms (plants and animals) from predators, including humans!

These French volunteers are:
Aline, Anne, Annette, Béatrice, Bernard, Brigitte, Carine, Catherine, Chantal, Chris, Christian, Christiane, Christine, Claudine, Clémence, Clément, Coco, Corinne, Dominique, Eric, Fabrice, Florian, Fred, Gérard, Isabelle, Janie, Jean, Jean-François, Jean-Pierre, Jeremy, Jonas, Josiane, Laëtitia, Laura, Laurence, Marie, Marie-Pascale, Martine, Michele, Monique, Nadine, Olivier, Oscar, Pascal, Patrick, Régine, Richard, Robert, Rose-May, Vainui, Véronique, Yann…
