The 6th Annual Meeting of the Foundation for a Drug Free Europe (FDFE) was held this 18 September 2019 in the bibliotheque of the Cercle des Voyageurs, 18 rue des Grands Carmes, 1000 Brussels. The Meeting entitled: Knowing, Understanding and Solving the Drug Problem in Europe , took place in the wake of the UN International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking. It was organized by the FDFE with the support of Say No To Drugs Belgium and the Fundacion para la MEJORA de la Vida, la Cultura y la Sociedad (UN ECOSOC Status – Madrid). The attendees were mainly Embassies and Permanent Representations. We had been particularly honored by the presence of H.E. the Ambassadors of Colombia and H.E. the Ambassador of Laos. In the frame of the implementation of the 2016 UNGASS document to counter the world drug problem, the Say No To Drugs (SNTD)Team of Czech Republic, continues his prevention actions and on August 17 held a booth at the entrance of the Music Festival Horka Kase in Novy Jicin city. This was done with the support of the festival organizer eager to protect the youth attending the festival. And this was a good way to contact and discuss on the drug subject with many youngsters. They were, more than we think, interested to have serious and objective data about this subject. During the past years the team Say No to Drugs Zürich has been regularly organizing distributions in Zurich city, covering the famous and busy Bahnhofstrasse, as well as other less busy and less attractive areas of the city, but where the need for the truth about drugs is strong. At the occasion of the 9th show of the very popular pop-culture and fandom Comic Con Ireland 2019 event, hold on August 10th & 11th at the Convention Centre of Dublin, the Scientology Community Centre inspired by The Truth About Drugs campaign, launched its Comic Art Competition Project on the theme: Do Art, not Drugs. Comic Con at Convention Centre Dublin The purpose is to get the new Drug-Free Superheroe which will work together with their Wonder Woman, Spiderman and all people of good will to create a safe and sane environment! In one day, no less than 700 people toured the booth and got informative booklets on drugs. 150 artists interested by the competition signed up for the competition and another 200 youth will sign up online.
