Help them to decide freely The French Say No To Drugs chapter of the Region Auvergne localized in the center of France, rich of its old volcanos, provided some specific statistics of its drug prevention activities for 2017. If the main anti-drug group is in the famous city of Clermont-Ferrand (the native city of Blaise Pascal and the headquarters of the Michelin tires), the team is moving weekly to distribute to youth and parents their educational drug prevention booklets The Truth About Drugs. They were setting their booth on the markets, during sportive events in many cities of the region, such as Aubière, Aigueperse, Beaumont, Billom, Cebazat, Ceyrat, Chamalières, Cournon, Issoire, Nevers, Riom, Roanne and Thiers to name some. Who does not remember his lessons in geography and economics mentioning the region of Charleroi, the Black Country (Pays Noir), as the Belgian high place of the steel industry, the mechanical industry and others, which made it the social capital of Wallonia. Slovakia: A challenge to drugs

An active member of the anti-drug  campaign The Truth About Drugs in Slovakia, Peter Remper, is highly specialized in delivering lectures every week the year around in the different schools of the country. He did the sum of his different lectures, TV and radio interviews, educating the youth on the drug dangers in the schools of the 68 districts of Slovakia and the results are: 5200 lectures were delivered attended by more than 177 313 primary school pupils and secondary school students. Among these youth 73 795 of them pledged to carry-on the message to their friends and family to protect them against the drugs. The FDFE Representative attended the 2nd Asia Pacific Forum Against Drugs, held in Singapore on 6 October 2017 and gathering about 200 delegates of like-minded organizations. Here after a Summary.    ASIA-PACIFIC FORUM AGAINST DRUGS 2017 « Together, A Drug-Free World for our Children” The National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) of Singapore organised the 2nd Asia-Pacific Forum Against Drugs (APFAD). The event brought together local and foreign delegates from government agencies, non-government organisations (NGOs) and civil society groups, to network and discuss how to better counter the continuing global calls for drug liberalization and the lobbying of pro-drug groups. 2. Say No To Drugs Belgium at the July Sfinks Festival...

The team of volunteers, on 29 and 30 July, held a drug prevention booth at the annual famous Sfinks Mixed Festival gathering no less than 96,000 people from all the ways of life. The volunteers were distributing The Truth About Drugs booklets and videos informing on the harmful effects of the 14 most used drugs*. This year in different festivals, throughout Belgium, the police successfully raised the drug protection level by checking for drug dealers and users. Indeed the youth not provided with enough data on the harming effects of the drugs are more easily fooled on the reality of drugs, including for alcohol and cannabis.
