The team of volunteers, on 29 and 30 July, held a drug prevention booth at the annual famous Sfinks Mixed Festival gathering no less than 96,000 people from all the ways of life. The volunteers were distributing The Truth About Drugs booklets and videos informing on the harmful effects of the 14 most used drugs*.

This year in different festivals, throughout Belgium, the police successfully raised the drug protection level by checking for drug dealers and users.

Indeed the youth not provided with enough data on the harming effects of the drugs are more easily fooled on the reality of drugs, including for alcohol and cannabis.

Teachers, policemen, nurses, associations, parents and students were very interested to discover the drug preventive materials offered by the association.

And for the fun, the public was allowed to experiment the behavior of an alcoholic drunk or a cannabis drugged person, by using two special glasses.

4,100 booklets were distributed to the public.

(*)The materials are available in different languages.
