The Say No to Drugs campaign started in 1991 to provide parents, educators and youth with
knowledgeabout against drugs.
Popularizing theconceptof adrug-free life,TruthAboutDrugsbookletdistribution is takingplace
all over thecountry. Under theaegisof theFoundation for aDrug-FreeEurope,weeklyactionsare
taking place across the Hexagon, in cities such as Marseille, Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Avignon,
Lyon, ClermondFerrand, Angers, Vannes andNice.
In 2011 alone, 150,000 bookletswere distributed to the public, withmore than 250 information
booths held across France, and some4,000peoplepledging to livedrug-free. Othermeans used
to spread the information include lectures andpresentations toofficials, politicians, civil servants,
presidentsof likemindedassociations and religious leaders.
